This notice explains, under Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“KVKK”), how we process the personal data of people who visit vakifankara.com and contact us.

2. What we process
- Quote and availability requests: name, phone, e-mail and company if given, event type, date, estimated guest count, hall preference and your notes.
- Source of the request: the page or site that brought you here, ad and campaign parameters (e.g. utm tags, Google/Meta ad click ids) and the page you sent the request from. If you accepted cookies, the source of earlier visits from the same browser is linked to your request too.
- Call records: notes our team takes about your request and call outcomes (reached, not reached, etc.). Calls are not recorded.
- Newsletter: your e-mail address and language if you subscribe.
- Visit statistics: pages viewed, referring site, device and browser type and country/city-level location, collected by a cookieless analytics tool running on our own server. Your IP address is not stored by it.
3. Purposes and legal grounds
- Replying to your request, preparing a quote, planning your event and handling the contract — necessary to conclude or perform a contract (KVKK art. 5/2-c).
- Measuring which channels bring requests, spending our ad budget well, keeping the site secure and working — legitimate interest (art. 5/2-f).
- Storing information in your browser via cookies and similar technologies, sending the newsletter and the transfers abroad listed below — explicit consent (art. 5/1 and 9).
- Complying with our legal obligations (art. 5/2-a, ç).
4. Who we share data with
We never sell personal data. It is shared only as far as needed with the providers that help us run the service:
- Server and hosting provider — where the site, admin panel and database run.
- Cloudflare — fast and secure delivery of the site (content delivery, attack protection); may use servers abroad.
- Google — Google Ads measurement and the web fonts used on the site (Google Fonts); processed abroad.
- Meta (WhatsApp) — if you choose to message us on WhatsApp.
- Competent public authorities — only on a legal request.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
We ask for your choice with a banner on your first visit. You can change it any time with the button at the end of this page.
- Necessary:
va_consent(browser storage) — remembers your cookie choice. - Only if you accept:
va_vid,va_ft,va_visits,va_sids(browser storage) andva_tab(session storage) — an anonymous visitor id, the source that first brought you here and a visit count; sent to our own server together with a request if you send one. - Only if you accept: Google Ads cookies (e.g.
_gcl_au) — measuring requests that come from our ads.
If you decline, or have not chosen yet, nothing is stored in your browser. Google still receives signals without cookies or personal identifiers so that ad results can be measured (Google “consent mode”). Ad personalisation and remarketing are never used.
6. Retention
Data is kept for as long as its purpose requires and for the retention and limitation periods set by law, then deleted, destroyed or anonymised. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time.
7. Your rights
Under KVKK art. 11 you may ask whether your data is processed and request information about it, learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly, know the third parties in Turkey or abroad it is transferred to, ask for incomplete or incorrect data to be corrected, ask for deletion or destruction under art. 7 and for these steps to be notified to recipients, object to an adverse outcome produced solely by automated analysis, and claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.
