Every year as October approaches, schools, parent associations, professional bodies and societies ask the same question: where should we hold our 29 October reception or Republic Day ball? The 1500 m² Main Hall of Vakıf Ankara Congress Centre hosts 1200 guests in a cocktail layout or 800 at round tables; for smaller receptions Salon 3 takes 350 and Salon 2 takes 200 for cocktails. Guests are welcomed in the foyer, which also works as a reception and photo area.
A Republic Day reception is both a ceremony and a celebration. The modular stage, professional sound system and giant LED screen in the Main Hall are ready for the national anthem, the moment of silence, official speeches, poetry and choir performances, and Republic-themed films and slideshows. Live music, waltzes and period-themed dance performances are planned on the same stage, while themed decor and photo and video coverage are handled by our in-house team.
For school events, parents first ask about safety and access. The venue sits on Eskişehir Road (Dumlupınar Boulevard), inside the General Directorate of Foundations campus and opposite Gordion Mall, with 24/7 security, a large car park, valet and step-free access. Refreshments and menus are prepared in our own kitchen according to the age group and the time of the programme. Dates close to 29 October fill early, so committees are advised to book a site visit well ahead; quote requests are answered within one business day.
